It was nice spending the weekend with someone who was leaving for the Gen School... Aside from it being a moment to do green and to get to know each gen better, it was also a moment of yellow building among us this great Jesus in the Midst and a moment too for reassuring Grats that we are always with her.
Sunday, Yin and I didn't know what to do, what time we're going home, how we're going home, etc... All Sunday plans... We went lang with the flow (this is not always advisable but this Sunday is a bit different, hehe)... Woke up early, medyo matagal kasi kami gumalaw sa morning, so we showered before everyone else woke up, then helped prepare breakfast. After breakfast, there was this letter-writing frenzy, took the opportunity to live Violet and reassure those I know in Loppi of my unity (Oops, I remembered... I din't write pala to Wedy). After that, we had the Mass, keeping at the same time in our hearts that we still had to finish the letter for Chiara and that we ask the light from the Holy Spirit so we can give her a short but nice letter from all of us.
After the Mass, most of the Gen left na. Yin and I were left with Nita, Grats and Jasmin... I tried to see where I could help while being undecided as to where to go to after Lauretana. After a while, medyo past lunchtime na and Nita & Jasmin tried to grab some lunch from upstairs, tapos na kasi yung mga married externs. While we were starting lunch, Grats' family arrived... Grabe, she was moved talaga. She didn't know her sister was coming kasi Sunday was one of the four crucial days she had to stay home for (so as not to get any bacteria).
At first, we thought, if we brought Grats by car, kasya kaming lahat, with Cendi driving plus Nita & Jasmin. Pero with the family there, I had to lose that idea, ok lang, at least ma-assure ko sya that she can count on me.
Bandang four o'clock, the family insisted that we tag along... eh di ok! Hundredfold! Kasi we weren't expecting it anymore! :) Leaving the Lauretana, the pope were there, waving at Grats! Ang galing! Prang nandun talaga yung buong zone!
Medyo nagsiksikan kami dun sa sasakyan na hiniram nung family ni Grats pero ok lang. Medyo feel mo lang that they were all stopping themselves from crying. At the airport, medyo mabilisan lang, pero we were there to assure her of our unity and the family was there to assure her that they were always there, continents away nga lang. :) Her nephew Steven cried, di tuloy masyado nakaiyak yung mom nya. Then she entered.
They waited na maka-check-in sya ng maayos (through SMS) then they asked her to go to the airport restaurant where we also were. After that, yun na, final goodbyes, and they were all crying. It was a bit sad to see someone leaving but at the same time, it was nice knowing that she'll have a very beautiful adventure ahead of her. :)
